Yes. Thank You. I support Gay Marriage and I find the Activists at fault on this one. This is a game that comes from a different culture than ours so EXPECT DIFFERENT ACCEPTANCE OF LIFESTYLES (even if it was done by accident). I was so appalled by these SJW and Gay-Rights Activists going after Nintendo on the "no gay marriage in Tomodachi Life" that I actually felt bad I was supporting my fellow LGBT community for about 3 days. I read some of the stuff some of the Japanese populace has said about this and they down right mock America. It's so bad...

Also the game is for kids. I'd be more worried about religious parents up my ass anyways.

Actually, if memory serves, the actual reason why this is an issue is because of an unintentional bug where you could be in a same-sex relationship and still have children. And... that got patched out.

It's a bit more reasonable than MK8, unless you could play as a black character before some sort of patch. Oh wait, you have your Miis, never mind.

No the glitch was wear you could put your character is specific gender clothing from the opposite gender so you could fake a gay marriage. But if you did it it would break your save so they had to patch it. There was a rumor that made this sound a whole lot worse.

EDIT: I was wrong. The ACTUAL bug they patched was an actual bug that on the 3DS (i think) version that if you were a male it would swap your gender for no reason. If you want more information on this listen to the Super Best Friend Cast episode 40 because they explain it WAY better than I can.

They're very akin to modern day feminists, I would say. There's a fairly well established rule that is given to writers and creators who are formally educated, particularly in universities: Never introduce things into the story that detract from the central conflict unless they are there to add character depth. Unnecessary clutter makes the story boring and drawn out.

More to the point, why does there need to be gay characters/black characters/a minority class? Can't a story be fully engaging and well structured without getting pc? And why does it automatically become racist or prejudiced if the story does not have minority characters or the characters are portrayed negatively?
