Creepypasta Doom!

For those of you who have not heard of Creepypasta, they are scary and unnerving stories written on the interwebs. As CreepsMcPast puts it, they are the campfire stories of the internet as of late. Well, they have made several famous characters like Jeff the Killer, Slenderman, Smiledog, etc. What I plan on trying to do is to make a gamemode of TDM with humans versus CP monsters (I know, totally original :razz: ) but the monster can only be hurt by certain things. They have to be tricked into traps, or be forced to kill each other (or tricked). I am currently working on one monster, but I am alone on this, so may be a while before it will be done. :/

Edit:
Ooh, and almost forgot a Coop campaign where there are a lot of re-textured monsters to fit the feel of it and around 50 maps (mapping comes easy to me luckily).

And will there be monsters from the infamous creepypasta "Squidward's Suicide"?

Not sure what monster that would be unless it is a Squidward with a missing head and a shotgun. Lol.

Perhaps you could include that "Heart of Lothar" thing I did a while back. (Shameless self-promotion FTW)

Seriously, this seems like a plausible idea. I could image Smile Dog as a Pinky-like enemy, and a headless Squidward blasting things with a shotgun, kind of like a blind Shotgunguy.

This sounds silly but I don't care! Tis suggestions dammit!

A monster simply comprised of audio waves, playing the Lavender Town theme. When in close proximity it lunges and gets rather stuck to you until you blow it off.

Wouldn't it be cooler if the CP monsters could never actually be fought with? Like, everything they would do would be just made by scripts that send Doomguy to the Hell and beyond, while they would just sometimes pop up to either make a scary sound or to emphasize the wall textures changing to blood waterfalls or something like that

I hate to sound like a dick, but if you don't have anything to show then you should really post in the project ideas thread, otherwise a moderator will lock your thread. I mean it's written right there when you go to post (although IMO the forum software should be edited to put this message ABOVE the text box instead of below it):

Wow, that's pretty ambitious. Mapping may come easy to you, but I'd be concerned about that big number 50. I would focus more on quality and less on quantity. Do you have any of these maps to show us?

I feel like this is an interesting concept, but at the same time I feel like this will end badly due to how OP a lot of the creepypasta monsters are. Slender Man is sneaky, causes insanity, and is near impossible to kill. Smile Dog drives you to insanity as well, but to the extent of suicide. The only one I can imagine being balanced is Jeff he Killer. Well, there's also the Masked Man who actually is described more like a giant bird creature, but meh. (now THAT would be fun to play as since he is hinted to be murderous, he's huge, and nothing makes him seem overpowered to ranks of gods)

On a side note, I hope some SCP's get included since they're technically creepypastas and there's a lot of them. I'd especially love to see SCP-058.

All great ideas and suggestions. I plan on moving my post to the ideas thread so project ideas thread (as soon as I figure it out). And I think I will drop the # of maps to around 15 but will make multiple map packs so may end up around the total I hope to with a good quality. :)

I do think that the SCP series will definitely have a few maps dedicated to it and a few monsters. Also, I have a specific way that I plan on doing the CP monsters. Slender will be like a stealth sort of guy that can turn invisible when not in sight of a player. When he is seen he causes debuffs.

I am quite busy learning how to script, but otherwise I think I may be able to post a few screencaps. :)

Russian Sleep Experiment? Also Slenderman would be cool, but not the 8 pages Slenderman, the original one who burns down forests and impales you on sticks and puts your organs in a bag with no signs of a wound from it happening. That'd be much cooler then that broken TV Slenderman.
EDIT:The Rake would be pretty cool too.

Your comment has been noted and will not be cared for. Also, do you use grammar much? This is a good idea. Who said the monsters have to be scary, it just provides a new idea, which is great, as is this.

I can see some of this monsters only going for certain people. and no one else can do anything, or do little, to help.
