i3's are never a quad core, they are hyper threaded which makes you OS believe you have 4 cores. (they are dual cores with 4 threads)

CPU is not listed there, but it is Intel Pentium III 866MHz.

Yes, the PC did not lag on that resolution.

Is it just me, or GPU from 2001 beats most of intel GMA chips in performance?

Hmm what about a thread of doom benchmarks? (we get some mods, put the player on a specific position and print with vid_fps 1...)
