Text colours stopped working?

Couple of nights ago I went to visit a server as always...someone said something witty- out came the "That's what SHE said!" bind I've had for years and years and years.
Only problem is...it didn't quite work. At least not quite- it came out as if the colour codes where not working at all.
Other people were able use theirs fine and I could see their text colours just fine.
..so I tried another...same result.

For example- instead of say...Well putting in "\ctBUTTS" would normal come out as "BUTTS", but instead it just comes out "\ctBUTTS" like nothing happened...
This counts for vanilla coding and my own pk3, and it's just started out of the blue so I haven't changed anything myself.

Not sure why Zandro has suddenly started to do this- I checked my INI file and searching "color" looking for variables didn't help.
What do? I have a feel it could be related to some mods on a server me and a friend joined a couple days before but I don't see how suddenly this could have happened.

Kind of a shoutout too for mod making NOT to force binds on people, or changing settings. I found myself having to turn off bobbing whilst standing still multiple times because of a certain mod fucks up all your binds and settings...

Have you experienced this on the Grandvoid server, or somewhere else?
Might be unexpected result of Konar6's anti hack coding.

An extra backslash or two might help, at least it did for chatmacros. I believe Konar6 is planning to update kpatch so as not to break colored binds though.

It was a Grandvoid server yes- but other people were able to use theirs- so...I don't know...

Assuming this is on GV, it's an unintended behavior resulting from my slip in an effort to close a chat exploit. Sorry about that; though the problem has been already identified and fixed, and an updated kpatch build will be installed on next reboot.
