RE: Forum Suggestions/Bugs
The quotes show fine in all themes for me.
I cannot fix your problem with the Quick Edit thing, If you don't trust your connection, use the Full Edit.
Also maybe, I once had a cloned style for it, but it's long gone now.
Not even sure if people would want it as this is all new.

Eh, well this.. Blue on Green Theme is kinda.. Jesus it reminds me of Final Fantasy.. I think the blue should be toned down just a tad. I liked it when it was Blue on Black. But Hey, its a Start. :p

IDK why that happens. Never happened for me on other MyBB forums. I'll probably poke around some more.

I like the new Blue Translucent Theme. Alot better then that bright blue theme. Thanks :p
EDIT: once again nobody responds.. One thing to request.. Bring back the Skins Release SubForum. It was doing good and would help keep releases somewhat clean. Other then that, I'm happy with the forums.

RE: Forum Suggestions/Bugs
A little put off by the signature box (Blue Space theme, probably others). It looks almost exactly like a quote box, and I keep catching myself starting to read them. (Thanks to the color of the box, and how they float right below post content). I'm not sure how much control you have over the CSS, but it would be helpful if sigs were "pinned" to the bottom of the post-content. Possibly with a more distinctive look.
I could just turn signatures off, but I generally save that for when they start to get too visually obnoxious. Thankfully that hasn't happened (yet?).
Also: Can't stand the round-corner effect on avatars. It's especially horrible when theimage aready has a frame in it. Most everything else on the forum is sharp-cornered, I don't think avatars really need this special effe that doesn't even look very good.

RE: Forum Suggestions/Bugs
I am currently unable to pin the signatures to the bottom. I have tried lots of methods but were unable to get it work.
I have changed then from "blockquote" to "fieldset" with only the top border for now. I may end up changing it to something else later.
Also I disabled the rounded edges for avatars.
Edit: Alright, managed to get the signature attached to the bottom. But for it to work Javascript has to be enabled for this site.
Note that this also only affects my themes.

Seems to be a testing thing.
EDIT: Yep. Dark-Assassin's testing the suspension system. Nothing to worry about.

RE: Forum Suggestions/Bugs
For Private Messages, is there a way to extend the limit? 100 messages fills up kind of quick sometimes. :P
And whether the limit can be extended or not, is it possible to have old PM's deleted when a new one comes in? It's a bit irritating to have to go and remove old PM's yourself when it gets a bit full. Perhaps on top of that, a system to "locK" private messages to prevent important ones from being deleted?

Hmm, I cannot currently do anything advanced, but I'm also not sure if auto pruning PMs would be such a good idea either.
Also there seems to be no options for limits or anything.
I wouldn't exactly know what's happening as I haven't got more than 20 PMs.

At current, if you fill up your PM box, you receive a warning message on the page that says "Your private messages are full blah blah you must delete older messages in order to receive any new ones" etc.-=Dark-Assassin=- wrote: Hmm, I cannot currently do anything advanced, but I'm also not sure if auto pruning PMs would be such a good idea either.

Also, the SkullTag forums auto-pruned PMs when your inbox filled and you received a new message. So I just figured it would be a nice feature to have.

RE: Forum Suggestions/Bugs
I don't ever remember the ST forums pruning your PMs. I still had ones from since I registered there.
Anyway, I found where the private message quota is. I was just looking in the wrong spot.
So for now, the quota is disabled.

RE: Forum Suggestions/Bugs
Signatures look much better, thanks. :)
Avatars are a lot better, but still lightly softened at the corners. It's weird.

Hmm, using a Large resolution I don't see it. But Inspecting the element, it's using another definition that I missed...
