About the mod
A GZDoom horror mod based on "Slender: The Eight Pages"
Zandronum can be used as a fallback, but it still requires hardware/OpenGL renderer.
Currently in v3.0.0 multiplayer is not officially supported and will likely not work at all.

Gameplay
Your objective is simple, collect all 8 pages.
After you pick the first page the real game starts and ends only after you pick the last page.

Ghosted 2 Version 3.0.0 (preview 2) Go to the basement for tutorial.
Recommended: GZDoom 4.10. Using newer GZDoom versions spams errors messages into the console and possibly breaks the game!!!
Note: Some level aren't finished.
Note: Should be backwards compatible with Zandronum, but multiplayer is untested/unsupported in this version.

3 of us just play it and i just love it
but you should spawn the slender at the begining otherwise it will get to easy if you play it with 6 people :p.

I am not exactly sure what you have in mind... ???

Well, playing with more people makes it easy to find all pages. I am not sure what to do about it :neutral:
I am already making the enemies faster with each player playing and page picked up.

EDIT: I am going to try to make "Best Ever" server, but mods with spaces in their names can't be hosted. So, renaming "Ghosted2 v1.0.1.pk3" to "Ghosted2_v1.0.1.pk3" will do.

Maybe more then one slender? As in 1 slender for every 3 players. Or slowing the players movement down for each player in server, though it would probably be unfair.

I think that increasing Slenders number is going to be a bad move, since they will probably all gang up on one guy anyway

I kind of thought so too, just thought I would toss that out there.
Instead of more slenders, You could always do what slender the arrival does.
I believe on the second or third level of Slender the arrival you have something else chasing you that attacks you and slows your movement down.
Though I don't know that would work here.

One can always make a gang-rape protection in a way of ensuring that no two slenders can target the same player at any moment of time whatsoever.

Because, I dunno, they secretly hate each other.

Or that two slenders colliding into each other at an attempt to simulatenously take the same soul will assimilate both of them and create a magical universe-shattering explosion of pony rainbows, and slenders go as far as to increase the chance of their victims escaping by refusing to simulatenously target a single soul just to prevent the above from happening.

That last one could be used for a sort of extremely secret easter egg, or I dunno.

How about giving each player his own Slender to worry about? That way players would think twice before they make sweet hax in some small room

Played it and at first it was pretty fun, but it quickly gets old since each map has the same gameplay. I think the slenders get messed up from time to time because sometimes I can easily escape them without problem but other times they kill me in two seconds no matter what I do. I also notice that when your the only player that sometimes your screen randomly gets staticy and you die for no reason and without ever seeing slender.

I think you should randomize the pages so they arn't always in the same spot. Add new challenges and monster types because atleast for me after the 2nd map im bored because I know exactly what to expect.

yea the pages should be random otherwise it gets super stale within minutes.

Wow, it isn't.

Why not? After like a month the pages will be easy to find already.

Also a small thing: maybe change the spawn spot(s) of the pages when releasing a new update. That way you will keep it varied.

Hmm, that is true. The gameplay is same. Not sure what to do about it without making "Ghosted Horde" or "Who Ghosted It".

The pages spawn on diffirent places, I can already remember almost every single place on which page can spawn.

That is true.. that is why I thought of making the pages appear 100% randomly anywhere...

It is possible, but hard to keep under control.

I do not think it would be nessesary to make it change with an update, think about it, that would have the players download the same maps a trillion times, just for a spawn location update :\
I think more like this:
The maps got spawn spots on every imagineable page spawn.
The maps run script x on startup, which spawns the pages.
Instead of opdating the map, you update the script that spawn pages.

This would prevent the need of downloading the same map Again, and a script update would be so much smaller to stick around with.

2. map aestetics in video
I have not played this yet, shame on me, but here is some feedback on the video:
The maps in the video are VERY bland, they look like they took maximum an hour to make (which obviously isn't the case, as I see some Things that actually require skill to pull off, which you have proven to have), by this i mean long single texture corridors and Things like that, with absolutely no variation.

Other than that, all I can say is that I'm gonna download it now and try it out, and I will give more feedback later ;)

EDIT:
I have looked around on the maps and they are just as bland as in the video, I think you should do a bit on the looks of the maps, add some Things that will increase the creepyness and the horror.
I haven't played, just looked around, because, I must admit, it was too scary for me, it was even more scary than slender was on me :\

I would have to create better page spawning script to make sure I won't spawn pages too near each other.
I might try to do that in the future.

The pages do spawn randomly. But the randomness is limited to the spots I set up (there is around 34 possible places where page can be for the first map).
In another words, you don't know where the page is, you will know it might be there.
