EDIT: Hang on, I'm seeing new Instagib weapons... :)
However, these new weapons can all be collected no matter who which hero I play as. Maybe the first bug in new update?

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but when I load up the Zandronum PK3 version of this in Zandronum, and I can see every character but the Ranger in the character select. The ZDoom version works fine.

I don't know how to load the PK7 version, dragging and dropping doesn't work like the PK3.

That's a Zandronum engine limitation--only up to seven characters can be on the select screen.
To play as Ranger, enter a game, type Spectate in the console, and rejoin as him.

Could we get a cvar that somehow makes the instagib weaponry available outside of instagib mode, though obviously with a damage nerf? When enabled, maybe all VI spawns would have a low chance to spawn normal versions of the instagib weaponry.

the beam effect on the LG was made wider

since it's still a hitscan, the beam still has an area of 0

All instagib weapons can be collected no matter who I play as (for example, BJ having Duke's Golden D.Eagle).

This might be a strange nitpick, but I can't help but notice Duke's pistol being called an M1911, when it's nothing close (With the exception of Duke 64's pistol). Duke's Pistol is like a hybrid of a Glock 17 and a Hi-Point C9.

It was officially a M1911 later on in Duke 64 and Forever, while the first one was sort of just a fictional massive brickgun that kinda looked like a C9. My guess is he just went with the canon name instead of "Pistol" because of decorate and such.

Guess it could just be called a C9, but at this rate you might as well rename the SG to "M1300 Defender" and the XSG to "SPAS-12".

Point being, might be better to just give it some bullshit fictional name than try to fit anything.

Trying to use the Burl Tumd guy add-on gives me this error at start-up:
