Need a Server?

With IDP relaunching we are going to give back to the Community when ever possible. I'm throwing this out there for anyone who is interested. We will be hosting servers for people who need a server. If you are trying to play a game with a friend and can't open or port or you are just having trouble...We will be more than happy to host a server for you. Send us your wads/pk3's and what DMFlags you want and we will host a server for you. We can also make you a room in our TeamSpeak server so you and your friends can talk.

If you want us to host you a server message Me, ChaosHunter45 or SnowStorm and we will get your server up as soon as possible.

I am aware of BE but I figured I'd throw that out there. Never hurts to have another option for server hosting. Like I said we are trying to give back to the community and having another server hosting option never hurts.

Just pointing out that we get lots of people who post "WANT A SERVER HOSTED?" and then never do anything when you ask them, or forget the DMFLAGS, or forget to PM you the RCON. There's always the human element. :p

True I understand. I am willing to help those people out. I understand that everyone is not able to host servers and we here at IDP would love to help the community whenever possible. Anything we can do to improve this community...I am all for it. Be it hosting servers for people..Making a Room in TeamSpeak for people to be able to talk to each other... Whatever we can do to try to improve the quality of the community (There is nothing wrong with the Community right now but there is always room for improvement right?)

I thought it will be a good idea to have servers somewhere else to get better pings... I ran ip location finder and the server is in New Jersey as well :p

I understand this. I can also host servers from my PC too I"m from Columbus Ohio. You are not being a dick...We are not in competition with BE or anything. I simply made this post to throw the idea out there. If people want to use BE. By all means go ahead. I simply threw the offer out there for anyone who wants to use it for any reason.

It never hurts to have more than one option for something does it?

Thank you. Here at IDP we are all about giving back to this community. I myself have always found Doom as a great way to relieve stress and Doom has gotten me through a lot of Depression over the years.

Some people don't reliaze how helpful it is mentally to just escape into Doom. Doom has gotten my mind off a lot of depressing things in life. I was once suicidal and it was my escape and it really helped me through that phase in my life.

If I could host a server for someone who is Depressed (Or just someone in general) and they find enjoyment out of it...That's what we are all about. Who knows there could be some 14 year old kid who gets bullied and picked on at school but when he comes home he joins one of our servers and finds an escape. I want to be that person that provides that for someone in need. Not everyone is in need that is just an example. But it really helped me out when I was in that position and I really hope I can help someone else out.


I hope people do use our servers and I hope they get enjoyment out of it. IDP is based on enjoyment. That's why people play Video Games right? Enjoyment.

That stroke right to my heart, games helped me a lot when I was bulied by damned maggots.
I also find enjoyment as a the greatest share of what video games stand for, and everyone find their own enjoyment in it, it's quite wonderful actually.

Now you understand our goal here at IDP. Glad my post touched someone. We are all about improving the quality of your Dooming experience. I am also a great listener and a great talker and I would talk to anyone who is going through bad things in their lives. I want to try to help people as much as humanly possible.
