Sprites in OpenGL

#1

Post by AnalOpportunist » Fri Aug 09, 2013 12:13 am

Hey,

I have noticed that sprites in OpenGL mode behave slightly different than in software mode. I mean: they are rotating only in horizontal directions, while verticaly they are always in the same position. Due to that they look like fucking photos and it pisses me off.

So I would like to ask if there's any way to make them rotating verticaly, so they could behave in similar way to software mode?

Go to Options > Display Options > OpenGL Options > Preferences > Sprite Billboard (dang, that's long), and change it to "X/Y Axis".

^Once you can't see the lamps you'll revert that back.. Otherwise any map with stairs and obstacles below will get you in nasty positions.
