Try turning on V-Sync in the OpenGL options. VSync is supposed to help with screen tearing IIRC.

Do you have an integrated graphics card? Some intel cards have little/no support for openGL

I have a Intel(R) HD Graphics (Pentium) and no I have never had any problems besides frames skipping because of HQx4. Also i have turned that off and it didn't work. Yes the intel has little support for OPENGL but for two years i've never seen this before.

EDIT: Skulltag works fine. Zandronum is basicly Skulltag upgraded so yeah.
Here.

I heard that stuff like this could be caused by your graphics hardware overheating, do you have proper cooling on your machine (I assume you're using a laptop)?

I have normal setup. On a table. Mouse and mousepad pluged into in the side.... Im pretty sure it gets enough cooling and I did clean my laptop not long ago (IT. WAS. DIRTY.).

Lol, that's not even screen tearing. Not even close.

This is stuff I've seen happen on overheating laptops with integrated GPUs, along with ones that are simply old or have outdated drivers.

First, I suggest updating your graphics drivers. If that fails, try running Z& in GL Compatibility Mode.

If even that fails and it turns out to be a heat problem, clean out your laptop again, more thoroughly with a can of computer duster (compressed air, be careful to not spin your lappy's fans too fast or you may wreck them. Stick something like a toothpick into the fan blades to keep them from spinning while you puff the dust through the vents in the OPPOSITE direction of normal airflow). If this doesn't help, you might have to throttle your CPU by 5-15% to keep it from generating too much heat.

GL Compatibility mode helped alot. Its less annoying now and not showing up everywhere. Thank you. I seriously thank you so much.

EDIT: Also. First thread. This place is very helpful and nice. I'll stick around for awhile.

I have found GL compatibility mode to have a lot of problems though, for instance it sometimes does not correctly render line horizons.

Also disables mirrors IIRC. But then that was a better option than having the drivers crash on my old laptop with crappy integrated graphics.
