So I made a theoretical loadout for Kyle from Dark forces because I felt like it. For fun. In the style of the descriptions in the intro post. With some other numbers.

I don't really expect anything of it (because if I expect something from it, then I'm doing it myself and what's a sprite) but yeah, Imma leave it here anyways.

So apparently +SPECTRAL and -SPECTRAL do not deal in "Spectral" damagetype.
Which meant the Entity was literally unbeatable, as his second form simply could not be damaged.

Brb going to shoot myself for missing such a stupid gamebreaking bug.
I'm going to have to gather up a QA team from now on.

tbh a lot of stuff on the zdoom wiki -at most the ones for hexen & strife- don't usually give what is described in the functions.. for example A_BishopAttack2 is said to fire based on a counter from 5-7 projectiles.. however if you change the tic time to something faster he'll shoot less projectiles.. so he actually fires based on an interval.. Dunno how much similar stuff you'll face in strife but bet its even more stuff like this.

So I came back to the old front base looking for useful trash after beating the Bishop but...

It's called, Zandronum fails it when it comes to Strife. That happened to me a few times before too :p
Strife is simply way too buggy in Zandronum. Blame the ZDoom/GZdoom version on which Zan is based. (because if I remember right such bugs happened in some zdoom versions too).

An easy fix is to go back to the Outerlands and use the teleporter there to go back to the Front's base.

The key problem here is the Town map, which is linked to both the old Front base and Order--the Town map is supposed to change (and with it the exits to the Front Base and Castle) after you get the Keymaster's Key, but it's not because for some reason the exit isn't tied to the key. It is in ZDoom, which makes it even more baffling.
It's a giant inconvenience, but it can be avoided if you use the Outerlands teleporter.
