SCP Containment Breach Source code released

#1

Post by NachtIntellect » Mon Dec 03, 2012 7:43 pm

Hey if anyone is interested, Regalis down at the SCP Containment Breach forums just released his source code for his game.
Here is the topic where he released it: http://scpcbgame.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 6&start=40
And here is the download page for the game (Incase you've never heard of it, which you probably should of by now): http://www.scpcbgame.com/
It is all compiled in a program called Blitz3D or Blitz3DMax (I can't remember which one anymore, lack of sleep.)

Oh one more thing, if you are using internet explorer some dickhole reported the page to Microsoft on a massive scale.

I always thought the game was based on some fps maker-ish engine?

I'm remember reading somewhere that it was based on an SCP game (a different game that had a very similar name) but didn't actually have much in it apart from walking through a corridor.

Yeah, I used to play that one at a friends place, he had surround sound in his room, god damn... I was too freaking scared to touch the keyboard or the mouse...

Heh, never played it I have Containment Breach on my laptop but never played the first SCP game. I would mess about with the source code but I'm not that literate with code.

Amneisa:TDD might be however, I know for a fact that Amnesia: TDD isn't.

Well with the source code released, this will now make SCP Containment Breach so much more moddable.
