one_Two, I'll definitely add you to the list for testers.

Lord_of_D: yes this is a dark themed texture pack and best of all everything has been tested in classic doom mode so anyone using these textures will have fun if they use these textures for any source port.
As far as decorate it's only source-port compatible unless someone wants to use dehacked to make it doom2 map compatible.

I am writing as now, i just went experimenting and i just wanna say that 2.7.6 will be a nice hit soon as i not only just struck gold on another dark industrial software thing going, but i even added dirty marble and new dirty bricks. I even went as far as to get some heavily silent hill inspired dimensional stuff made for part of the theme. I just had to announce this cause i been rolling about 50 or more new dark dirty or grunge styled textures.


hey umm one_Two I'll be sending you the compiled stuff with a demo map for it in a pm with a link to the new prototype come Sunday. I am letting everyone know if they wanna participate in the event please pm me or reply in this thread and I'll gladly send the link to anyone willing to participate or give feedback.

when i got a chance i'm gonna try to upload an example picture from image shack to get some enlightenment started on this exciting day for me. I feel so good today <3

Those textures remind me of "Otherworld" of Silent Hill games, but with less browns and rust colors.

yes you are very correct Mr. Chris, but as of now the doom palette is very restrictive and as so i can't make the correct color pigment all into the textures. I'm trying many ways to emulate this other world into my own shape and form straight into doom's old roots so that someday there will be a silent hill like port or mod. I'm still very unfinished the only part I'm almost finished with is the software part of doom. I think after 2.8 I'll take doom into an even darker part of it's former roots way deeper but that development will take a much bigger route then my previous plans cause it will be the true form of my work the full color unrestricted take on doom2.


I would like to know Mr. Chris have you ever tried my resource at all or do you look at the screenshots cause I'm looking for more resource testers to try my resource, you know test it for fun. I'm still making more demo maps, then I will be releasing them to the public. I haven't gotten any feedback yet and I'm still tweaking the new prototype before i release it.

I wanna apologize in advance for the fact that i never announced on extending the date and not even posting the new prototype but i been working on a release date somewhere near new years maybe no guarantee on the date.

I worked extra hard today to finish some touches on the last few of my series for the other world.

I'm planning soon not right away, but to release the next version number since i never expected to extended the update to almost near the new years date.
The 2.7.6 update will be one of the hugest ones in this whole updated series. i conjured about 5 to 7 different themes added never before seen marble edits
and the fact that this whole expansion may add to a total of now near 2000 textures in the way-point is a very big achievement for me when i get there.
I originally just went past the 1800 line right now that's a lot of edits and variants including recolors and graphic overhauls on themes.


I hope to get some feedback on the new preview pic.

(all the pics are the software compatible textures not all of them shown)

I'm back again with major news regarding the 2.7 update this more of a full release of 2.7 in it's full released status. I have many things in the works for the textures and many other things. I will be contacting some the beta testers soon as we will be testing out the new textures. I'm hoping to get some opinions soon from them. I'm ironing out missing edits and organizing new ones. I hope that anyone who has seen the zdoom forums has seen the latest work and will be enjoying the new release soon somewhere in end of March or mid April. I am in addition making a very special addition coming soon called Dromexic which is a doom meets hexen and heretic like texture pack which holds doom2's palette at heart making this a more addon approach and an even more challenging approach towards texture development as 2.8 is looming around the corner this year so cross your fingers folks. :P New Screenshots will come soon.
