OpenGL Renderer won't work in Fullscreen
Recently, I upgraded from a 4:3 monitor and am now using a 16:9 TV as a computer display. On the monitor, I could play Zandronum fine on any settings with OpenGL.
using the TV though, going fullscreen in OpenGL makes the screen go black and displays "Unsupported". I can however, play in a window but I prefer to play fullscreen. The native resolution is 1360x768, but selecting this resolution doesn't work. If anyone has any ideas why it wont work and how I can fix it, I'd appreciate it.

Check your graphics card's settings in the control panel. Usually you can right click on your desktop background and see a shortcut link to it there, otherwise it's in the regular Windows control panel.
See if there's a special TV mode or resolution option in there, I know I've seen a few over the years.
Quick info: AMD's control panel info, nVidia's control panel info.

RE: OpenGL Renderer won't work in Fullscreen
I've been messing around with different 3D settings in the Nvidia Control Panel. I have it set to "Performance" mode considering how outdated the card is (Geforce 6150 nForce 430. It's nothing special but it gets the job done.)
There aren't any settings for TV, but that may be because I'm connected using a VGA cable since the crap computer im using doesnt have HDMI.
After messing around with different resolutions in Zandronum, I find that 720x576 is the only one that works fullscreen (with the bottom half of the screen on the top and the top half on the bottom.)

Try using a lower refresh rate.

RE: OpenGL Renderer won't work in Fullscreen
The maximal possible refresh rate depends on the screen and the GPU. Unless you are using exactly the same screen and GPU as he does, you can't draw any conclusions for his setup from the fact that it works for you.

RE: OpenGL Renderer won't work in Fullscreen
I've always had the refresh rate set as 60Hz, since any higher makes the picture go fuzzy. (and its only a TV.)
I tried to run Zandronum in GL Compatibility mode, black screen.
In the Nvidia control panel, I managed the 3D settings for Zandronum to be at the lowest settings as possible. Black Screen.
At this point, it seems like my best option is to use an actual monitor and not a TV. In fact, my best option all together is buy a computer that doesn't suck. I appreciate the help, but it seems like I'm stuck in windowed mode for the time being. No way in hell Im using software renderer. This thread can be locked or deleted now, unless someone actually has a solution.

so run in window mode and turn off aero theme it will make some effect best on is classic one (turn off aero if you have one) btw my monitor can run at high refresh rate ~120 or so...
my specs is (2.4 GHz celeron D(really sucks) 1 gb ram 300 gb hard disk (not really maters) and radeon 6450 HD)
and try this one too (format Hard Drive, take windows or linux instal disk, and instal operating system...)
if nothing helps try to update Soft of vid card
