That's not even the best part.

The hero after that? Gaston. His VII allows him to open his shirt up temporarily, giving him invulnerability through his chest hair.

We have what seems like a final loadout for Ranger, considering Terminus is on the verge of cracking skulls from sprite ripping! Yes, we do listen. Occasionally. When I'm not being ridiculously bullheaded. Which is never. Shut up, I'm a good developer :<

Fist: Axe
Slot 1: Laser cannon (explanation below)
Pistol: Shotgun
Slot 2: Double-barreled shotgun
Slot 3: Grenade launcher w/ cluster grenades
Slot 4: Nailgun w/ lava nails
Slot 5: Rocket Launcher w/ multi rockets
Slot 6: Super nailgun w/ super lava nails
Slot 7: QWAD DAMEG
Unique: Thunderbolt (regen effect moved to megasphere)

So wait, why is the Laser cannon in the first slot? It's... not melee in the slightest. Well, it's Quake 1, so that pleases the "FAK QUAK 3 SAJKDAKJSHDKJAS" people. Second, with the moving of Thunderbolt to unique position, it turned cells into an even less used ammo type for Ranger. We really did need something else to use cells, even if it doesn't quite stack up with the Plasma RIfle damage wise (but it's a slot 1, and the LG does 30 damage per cell, so WGAF). The laser cannon is a good long range bombardment weapon, with its bouncing everywhere and going pretty dang fast, fitting it well into the role of Artillery.
Also because the laser cannon kicks ass. You can't deny it.

You could also have used the Mjolnir (or however it's spelled) as slot 1 but oh well, the laser is OK.

Nice final loadout for Ranger, and Artillery role...I like that idea. Can't wait until Ranger's in now.

I also came up with the idea for a Team Fortress style mod based on Samsara; there are nine characters planned with roles matching Team Fortress, most of them from regular play but I may need to go into other games/sources, even outside the FPS genre, to fit the roles, and I'd like to avoid using TF2/TFC characters for this. Note there are many possibilities for these slots but this is the concept I have.

Aqua Kitty - Scout (Loadout: Sword, Beretta, Super Shotgun)
Doomguy - Soldier (Loadout: Fist, Shotgun, Rocket Launcher)
Security Officer - Pyro (Loadout: Fist, WSTE-M5, TOZT)

Duke - Demoman (Loadout: M1A11, Pipe Bombs, RPG, Mighty Boot)
Chexter - Heavy (Loadout: Zorch Gloves, Large Zorcher, Super Rapid Zorcher)
Tails (Sonic) - Engineer (Loadout: Wrench, Laser Pistol, Shotgun, Build Tool)

Lo Wang - Spy (Loadout: Disguise tool, Camo, Kunai Knife for backstabbing, Shriuken)
B.J. Blazkowicz - Sniper (Loadout: Knife, MP-40, Scoped trench rifle)
Serra (Fire Emblem) - Medic (Loadout: Staff that has healing beam, magic spikes (to emulate the syringe gun), and melee attack)

EDIT: Still eagerly awaiting Ranger's arrival in the Wheel.

And maybe each role in the TF Samsara could have more than one character with their own loadout (For example I originally intended t3h ch33f to be the Sniper with Sniper Rifle, SMG, and E-Sword, but decided to put BJ there with a scoped trench rifle because I'd like to keep this as close to regular Samsara as possible, and he's the Marksman). If I ever get the time I'd begin coding this with the current classes I have formed, though it seems like it would be a pain in the ass.

As much as I'd like to play as Tails (because I'm a faggot like that), I think some of these characters are too out of place for Samsara.

As much as I'd like to play as Tails (because I'm a faggot like that), I think some of these characters are too out of place for Samsara.
Now that I look at it again, maybe SO should be scout and I'll have to look into a replacement for Pyro (Maybe parias with serpent staff, modified firestorm, and mace). As I said there could be multiple classes for each role with their own unique loadouts (Corvus could be an engineer that can deploy magic turrets/dispensers/teleport pads, in addition to spamming gas pods). Daedolon could also be a healer using a modified wand (main heals, alt shoots mana spikes) and the mace. Strifeguy could be the spy (Dagger, disguise, shadow armor, poison crossbow). Like I said: Many many possibilities for these slots, and multiple characters for each role would be good (mainly because it adds the possibility of TF Classic/TF2 characters, and Ranger as another Soldier).

TF Samsara, in conclusion, would allow more classic characters (the rest of Hexen, Strife), and all the other characters that could be put into each role would be optional (Tails, Aqua, Serra, Lo Wang).

Updated "Samsara" loadout:
SecurityOfficer - Scout (Loadout: Fist, Dual Magnums, Dual WSTE-M5 Shotguns)
Doomguy - Soldier (Loadout: Fist, Shotgun, Rocket Launcher)
Parias - Pyro (Loadout: Mace, Serpent Staff, modified Firestorm)

Duke - Demoman (Loadout: M1A11, Pipe Bombs, RPG, Mighty Boot)
Chexter - Heavy (Loadout: Zorch Gloves, Large Zorcher, Super Rapid Zorcher)
Corvus - Engineer (Loadout: Staff, Elven wand, Crossbow, Tome of Building)

Strifeguy - Spy (Loadout: Disguise tool, Camo, PunchDagger, Poison Crossbow)
B.J. Blazkowicz - Sniper (Loadout: Knife, MP-40, Scoped trench rifle)
Daedolon - Medic (Loadout: Modified Sapphire wand that can either heal allies or rapidly fire magic spikes to harm foes)

And maybe if there's more than 1 full team of classes, the new classes could be assigned their own teams. (BLU, RED, Classic, Gray, Samsara, Misfits)

I was actually thinking of the feasibility of a TF2 mod where it would pit the guys from this mod against the TF2 crew. The only difference here is that the guys from the wheel will be equivalent to Juggernauts (6 is to 1) and all their game items were scattered across the map (quad-damage, berserk pak or even the tome of power) and they only have 5 weapons. Here is an idea of who would be equvalent to who

B.J. Blaskovitz- heavy, sniper, soldier
Doomguy- heavy, scout, soldier
Patrias- medic, soldier, demo
Caleb- pyro, heavy, demo
Duke nukem- heavy, soldier, demo
Security officer-pyro, soldier, scout
Ranger- demo, scout, soldier
Strifeguy - spy, demo, sniper
Lo wang- demo, sniper, soldier
Corvus - spy, Pyro, scout
Powerslave dude - Pyro, heavy, sniper

Any thoughts?

You forgot Engineer, and Corvus could have a Tome of Building that summons magical turrets and the like for that role.

Mind that TF Samsara itself is not canon nor official, and I do want to keep it as canon as possible while completely adapting to Team Fortress mechanics, so of course many characters will have to be altered to fit in, which is the reasoning for more non-canon abilities like the modified Firestorm, Corvus' Tome of Building, and Daedolon's healing wand. I would make both fire modes act like Hexen (A Heal main and Hurt alt attack which fires at about the same rate as the wand).
