Looks alright, I'd suggest using more texture variation, especialy with two flats that seamlessly go onto each other, like in the blue room, I'd probably either put another texture round that or bring the ceiling down a bit.

This is a coop map I've been working on. I'd like to know your opinion on the detail - I chose to keep it simple when it comes to detailing, perhaps make a bit more complex details here and there.

Not sure if I would use some of those textures like that. Pay attention to the "cutoff" lines in the textures, shape your architecture around that, don't just use random GREY_ textures as fill. I also can't say I approve of the way the hotrock and red marble textures are used in the 3rd shot. You might be able to keep the rock, but the marble with the distinct 128x squares doesn't look right for a "natural" rock formation.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't recall there being a marble texture without those lines so I guess I'll have to replace it with that other red rock texture that's typically used in hellish areas (the texture on the far right in the second last shot).

I'll see about the GREY_ texture usage, you're right if you think it was used for filling. I don't know what else to put there without adding some fancy map geometry (which is something I try to avoid). I was thinking that keeping the layout simple (in terms of detail) and using a variety of GREY_ textures would be sufficient, and I can't really say I've changed my mind about that. Perhaps I'll take a look at some of the maps that use these textures and learn a thing or two about detailing this kind of area.

This, I've made several changes to the wad, the sterling, the number for the ammo in the clip and the scenery are all new.

Edit: Also if you are wondering why there is no hand on the clip the hands I wanted to put on couldn't fit no matter how I tried
