Oh neat, the impailer actually follows the Ghoul's laws of ALWAYS FACING U now. What are the sprites from? I gotta be honest I was sick of seeing that weird worm thing appear in pretty much every doom mod ever.

Yeah those are made by Blox, edited from the M&M evil tree AFAIK. Looks pretty satisfying and actually scary IMO.

Now if only someone would do the same for the Icefiend over there ;_;

Had u guys thinked to make GB's Steamrock chargable to be throw further as Marines's Nade's?

Btw, Making the Marine's nade's instantly-explode when they touch a target should be a good idea, cause its annoying to see them bouncing away when u hit a jitter or a creeper w/them...

Ok so some of you apparently "miss" the retarded garbage meme achievements. So here, I'll post a tutorial on how to get the retarded nordic saga achievements back.
Spoiler: Click open for tutorial (Open)
First, download a program that can open our wad, preferably use slade.

Image

Once completed, open up lod-core.pk3, you should see something like this.

Now, open up the "graphics" folder, and once you've opened it, open the achievements folder, you should now see this.

Keep that window opened, now open up another window. This time open up ns_core.pk3. Once opened, do the same thing, go to graphics, and then go to achievements. This time you'll notice that there is a folder called "gray" and "small", IGNORE THEM.

Now all you have to do is delete an image on lod-core.pk3 and replace it with one from ns-core.pk3.

So as an example, lets say you wanted this garbage achievement picture Image instead of this one Image. All you need to do is figure out the name of the image, so the image name for Image is called, ACH_008.png, as seen here: Image.

So, all you need to do is DELETE ACH_008.png, in lod-core.pk3 and paste in Image from ns_core.pk3. When you paste in Image, make sure you RENAME it to ACH_008.png, or it won't show up!

Note: If you can't find the image you want to replace or it's not showing up, then you'll have to open up the latest lod-patch instead of lod-core, and do the same thing.

And there you have it, that's how you can get your garbage meme achievements back without bothering anyone else.

(No, you can't distribute modified versions of any LoD and/or NS wads/pk3's. However, you can upload custom achievements here.)

You just take the sounds from NS and put them in a folder named "sounds" in the main pk3. That may or may not work, so you might have to try putting something like that into the skins folder instead.

Excellent balance and revamp overall. However, one thing's missing: the Eyesore.

I tried making a class mod for the Eyesore awhile back, but it never worked out. I did, however, keep the HUD sprite. We don't need to put the others in (like Misty, Clowny, etc.) but I just figured that Eyesore would make things interesting. Especially with his small spawns. Here's the HUD sprite:

I was thinking that maybe the babies he creates could be incredibly weak and do a very small amount of damage. Or they could disappear after attacking. I don't believe that Eyesore is in any of the actual Ghoul's Forests, but rather in Ghoul's World.

We don't plan on doing any more new classes, but if there's a huge demand about a new ghoul, then maybe... just maybe.

tbh i new ghoul would be pretty good... but anyway, i have a suggestion, what about if choke health limit is 150? i mean, you will start with 135 but if u munch enough u can get 150 hp, tbh i think that would be good

Sounds interesting, but I suggest to make it when he kills a human not when he hurts him. You can probably increase his max hp by 5 per kill (easy to do in decorate terms :P).

Protip, erase icefiend? Gvh already has ice ghoul, Frosty, and it both looks and works better as a ghoul. If you really really want to add new ghouls, make them into something new. For example, lighting type ghoul, or or or a ghoul which makes illusions of itself? Like, Illus from Armageddon?

I didn't make Icefiend to begin with, so you should get your facts straight, first of all.

Second, I don't intend to remove ANY of the classes that have been added here, so, you are better off suggesting a rework for him. A lightning ghoul idea is possible, but I don't really consider adding a new ghoul, as I said before, until there's like a huge demand for it.

Illus suggestion was tried by I think Thetis, and it didn't go well.

Ok so we need input from our players, what is your opinion on ultimates? This was an update CutmanMike wanted to do before he quit GvH.

Basically, ultimates will only be unlocked if you are losing; So how does it go? Each team will have their own "soul", as in the ghouls will have ghoul souls, and humans will have human souls. Ghouls/human souls can only be picked up if someone from the ghoul/human team dies, so if you are a human you can only pick up human souls and vice versa. When you manage to pick up two souls, you can activate your ultimate for a brief period of time. Yes, this means that your ultimate can only be activated if your teammates have died, thus making it hard to obtain. The ultimates themselves will be passive buffs, not actual attacks, so for instance, Cyborg.

My idea for cyborg was that he goes into overdrive and smoke starts emitting from his body, his passive? He gets dual plasma guns, it doubles his firing rate for a *brief* period of time.

An example for another class? Well lets try warlock, instead of an overpowered nova-ball. He gets a super saiyan lightning aura. Basically the lightning aura empoweres his speed, as in his attack and movement speed are increased for a brief period of time.

So obviously the ultimates will be optional, meaning the server can turn them off. Also, the amount of souls needed to activate your ultimate could be dependent on the amount of players in the server, like if it's a 12 v 12 game, we could bump it up to 3 or 4 souls to activate your ult. Anyways, none of this has actually been started because I want to know what you guys think.

So now it all comes down to you guys, would you like us to add in cutmans last idea for gvh, ultimates? Yes or no. (explain if you want)
