Giant Spider - Already have a flying Spider boss (Arachnophyte or something)
Cerberus - Sounds alright to me
Hectebus Lord - Also sounds good, we have no mancubus variants yet
Super Cyberdemon - Already have Cyber Annihilator

Probably better to PM Catastrophe instead of repeatedly posting on the forums where you could be waiting hours or longer for a reply though :p

I found a bug on maulotaur and propably other classes which use fire trails too: When you shot fire trails directly under your foot it becomes a deadly trap which never expires. (For reference, see: first relases of Icefiend back in gvh:ns)

Simplest solution is to call it from an external actor through A_SpawnItemEx. That way, your pitch doesn't matter.

A couple requests:
  • Doom e1m8-themed battle. I know there's already a hell noble map, but this would be unique in that it would require two players to each control a boss at the same time.
  • Happy Time Circus themed battle.

I have made a map for this mod with 2 boss and they have 500 hp/player but looks like the project leader too busy to anser me.I have also posted the screenshots from my map in "what are you working on" topic

Try going onto an IRC server and connect to irc.zandronum.com, and then go to #priv, when Catastrophe's online he's usually in that room under the alias iphone.

Okay, my map is now pretty much done, now all I need is skybox, music and fully operational boss.

It's probably my favorite theme from the game (though I never played said game, only listened to the music).
+suits map pretty nicely if the first one did.
+it's kind of long (170 seconds or so), but all 170 seconds are action packed.
+Although it's 8-bit, it doesn't sound quite as 8-bit at the start.
+One of my personal favorites.

-It's from the touhou series (Touhou 3), which may cause a flame war.

Heh. To be honest I had so many diffrent ideas about music for my map, I decided to chose 3 from my pile of 35 or something musics. And I liked Chiyuri's pre-battle more than Yumemi's :P

Yeah, I watched plays of Touhou 3 and for the most part Yumemi's got engraved in my head because the battle against her lasted so long you'd hear the whole theme loop, which means I actually get to hear the whole theme multiple times, meaning I actually remember it as one of the most memorable themes from the game.

I say it depends on the boss, the boss is a huge part on what music fits the map.
I'd say the first one on your list of 3 is the best pick cloud, the middle is way too calm for multiplayer and the last one just fuck around, it will only fit a fast paced boss (as in a boss that moves quickly).

The Island map is very, very laggy in OpenGL and there isn't a lot of cover or variation in some of the areas.

The crypt map I think works well with the reflections and it doesn't really need that much detail because of that, and I like the music too. Bit small, though.
