So playing skills have the power to change reality (a fact whether you were behaving right or wrong, in this case). Kind of like in middle ages, some greater power will aim your crosshair.
Or, you failed to use pm, when you wanted to use said fact just as a tool to humiliate the opponent, but now you admitted that the fact has no importance, so the public will be aware of it.
