Need help!!

my wad won't work with zandronum. I spent years building this, I used skulltag.wad for extra textures and things. Now when I host or try and play it I get loads of missing textures and things. Only basic doom2 textures and things work. How to resolve this?

He meant that you needed to load Skulltag_DATA.pk3 and Skulltag_ACTORS.pk3
I do NOT recommend loading Skulltag.wad

Yeah sorry, I meant just load in any skulltag resource files you were using with the wad on Skulltag in Zandronum manually. Didn't mean skulltag.wad specifically.

Thanks. It works! but I had to use skulltag.wad, skulltag_actors.pk3 and skulltag_data.pk3

Load skulltag_actors.pk3 first and then skulltag_data.pk3 and then your wad, in that order, and you should not need the no-longer-used skulltag.wad, which was replaced by skultag_data.pk3 years ago.

yes that works ok just using skulltag_data.pk3 and skulltag_actors.pk3. The only thing is red armour and red life bottle sprites are too big and cut in half. There may be other issues I havent found yet.

In the zandronum .cfg I believe (not 100% sure) it has the pick up sizes and scales, under global variables. Maybe that's why the armor is too big. Or is it an imported graphic?

No not imported graphics. Just the red armour and red bottles I used from skulltag.wad. I could replace all these but in some maps they are important as the red bottles are in red blood pools and are the only health in the maps.

Weird, this should work. If it doesn't, please create a bug report on the tracker and include a minimal example wad that just relies on skulltag_actors.pk3 and skulltag_data.pk3.
