When i made that post I was rushing as I had to go. To be honest I had only came on after all these events and I was advised he got the shorter sentence due to said reasons.

The only person so far would be OreoCookies as he sourced the hack. I'll keep ya updated when I find out more.

Anyway, I'd bet the other cheaters are probably just randoms. At the very worse it would probably be fellow clanmates of Fate. But for now, we'll have to wait and see who else cheated when staff give updates.

I used the wallhack during one match during this scrimmage, and I was caught by various players like Dragon, Jenova, and some others. My ban is released in 2 months, which should be July 31st this year.

Not on my servers you're not.

I don't buy all this bullshit 'oh he gave us the hack and told us about other people who used it so we knocked down his ban to a measly 2 months'. It's insulting to players like myself and others who have played this game for many years with honest integrity whom have not once ever cheated or hacked to gain a sort of advantage. Rules are rules at the end of the day, if someone is stupid enough to break them then they should serve the full length of their punishment.

Idiotic. There were alternatives for testing out a hack (like single-player or private games with a friend). Why'd you decide to do it on a scrim of all places? And what if, hypothetically speaking, you didn't get caught on that single act? Would you have kept cheating until you did? In the end, I really wish you didn't associate yourself with that memetic piece of shit which is Oreocookies, but it's too late for that now, I guess.

Obviously, we can all agree that FateLord screwed up bigtime, but some of you need to stop jumping on his neck because of this thread's existence. We, as a community, really need to stop treating every apology thread as a shady attempt to lessen one's punishment and avoid responsibility. We shouldn't be giving people shit for trying to make amends with the community they're in, specially when they don't have a troublesome past record.

All in all, if you're not content with the punishment he got, feel free to convince the admins of your preferred servers to keep him banned from them. The master banlist hasn't been that relevant for quite some time, anyway.

I have to agree. I know I wasn't around during the decision making process and I know my input is pretty much irrelevant these days, but I feel that two months for knowingly using a hack during a scrim is a bit too lenient.

Also I gave up the hack to the admins so they can detect it with k-patch etc. I owned up to it as well. At first yes I was in denial but now, why even bother? It's difficult to hide.

Anyway, like Soul said: if you guys don't agree with my ban, convince the admins to make it longer. I stated before the purpose of this thread is not to whine about the ban.

Last time I did something like that I got 1 or 2 years ban '-' (maybe it was a combo of glitch exploit + cheat, or maybe they still don't know that exploit hmmm), anyway, the exploit was fixed long time ago

That's all well and good. I am sure that handing over the hack is greatly appreciated, and I'm glad you are taking the ban in stride. I just recall the backlash over these kinds of deals. The decision is already made so I'm not about to go stepping on people's toes. Good luck upon your return. As water has stated, there are some folks who were caught, came back and kept their nose clean.

Well I'm sure there were 10+ other active servers with people in them at the time before the scrim. So maybe use a little more common sense, and not do it where people analyze your every move to see if you're cheating. Just saying.
