Plutonia Map 22 - Impossible Mission

I'm having a ton of trouble with this map. I looked for a sort of walkthrough online but the only one I found isn't in Ultraviolence. Does anyone know how to beat this map?

The problems:
1) When you spawn, you're surrounded by 4 chaingunners, and you have to throw yourself onto a slow moving lift in front of you in order to get down to ground level, at which the chaingunners can still fire at you. No matter which corner you turn, you encounter more enemies, and if you run into one area in order to actually get a weapon (SSG, with extremely slow reload time) you cause an archvile to start wandering around the starting area. So that beginning is a fuckfest. It can be overcome, though, it just shakes you up.
2) This is the part I haven't gotten past. In order to get the blue key, you drop down into a pit, and you're placed right up against a wall with chaingunners squishing you up against it. There are, like, 8 of them. Not so bad, but behind them is a line of barrels, a bunch of hellknights, and two Cyberdemons. Whatever, even that's okay to deal with. But the fucking kicker, the goddamn "make you want to quit" kicker, is that there are six "slime-fall" pillars in the room, and inside each of those pillars is an archvile. So look, you drop down and immediately the archviles see you and start attacking. If you shoot at all, you get everyone else focused on you. But you have to shoot because there's no way around the chaingunners. So say you shoot a chaingunner, cool- you can hit the line of barrels behind them and kill them all in one hit. But if the barrel explosions didn't kill you, the two Cyberdemons are RIGHT UP NEXT TO YOU, so if you run a certain way, they block you and kill you immediately. If you manage to get past them (which is tough, but can be done) you have to deal with the hellknights (whatever) and the archviles. The fucking archviles. So, okay, you can't kill all 6 of them quickly, and they have their eyes on literally the entire room, so you can't hide. Even if you could, the Cyberdemons would poop on you with a rocket. So the next best plan is to just bolt across the entire room and hope to God you can get to the other side and in a hallway for cover in time. So if by some miracle the archviles don't attack you immediately and you SOMEHOW make it across the room (because believe me, the room is big enough for you to get those things to kill you, even if you're sprinting) you run into the tiny narrow hallway on the other side only to be blocked immediately by a baron of hell. So you're stuck in a death trap with archviles all around you and two cyberdemons. There's no BFG before it, and there's nowhere to hide. Seriously, what in God's fucking name were these fuckers thinking when they made this map.

The two parts I mentioned are circled here. Fuck this. Anyone do this before? If so, how?

I managed to beat it from pistol start. You play normally until the blue key area, but before you jump you go to the hallway with 2 windows to each side, in the same pit area. You then aim at the pitfalls to shoot rockets to kill as many viles as you can. Then, you hopefully kill 3 of them, fall down the pit and some monster should see you. Let it blow the barrell, if not you do it. Try to cause an infight to get to the other side or lure the cybers to the far end of the room. The rest is easy.

1. The chaingunners only appear in Multiplayer.
2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWdxpbAYJRI - but then again, you do appear to have multiplayer actors enabled so all bets are off.

I've been killing the three through the window, but then I end up running out of rockets (which isn't that big of a deal, but still). Getting the other three archviles to infight is practically impossible, since all projectiles will be fired at the you, and all projectile-firing enemies are between you and the archviles. What happens with me is that I drop down and before I even hit the ground at least one archvile is setting me on fire. At that point, even if I get around the Cyberdemons, one archvile's gotten an attack off on me, and the other two are attacking me immediately after. I honestly just tried it again and died in less than 2 seconds. Do you have a demo I could look at?

This map is doable even with multiplayer monsters and 1 life.

At start run like hell to the ssg room, while lowering pistol the closest chaingunner that is about to fire.. when you get ssg at least 2 chaingunners would've died in infight.. take out the archvile with chaingun or fists if you have time :P.

Next target is yellow key, the elevator chaingunners are easy, don't go down the elevator just make it lower and rocket, now you can kill the rest whenever you feel like it.
The slime in this room DOES NOT damage you can strafe like crazy in it while ssging the PE and arachs, rocket the few revenants and get key..

Now the blue key, select plasma rifle as weapon, go down the pit.. run to top right so the baron destroys barrels instead of HK.. this will make HK go to infight the baron, have the baron hit a cyber so the cyber kill it and probably HK -NO FIRING AT ALL SO FAR-hide behind other cyber until other is away from key.. run like crazy to the key and shoot the shotgunner to the right, you can clean the rest of the room easily then kill the baron hiding in switch.. You get a bfg9000 next...
Rest is same as SP except a mastermind you can have the 2 spectres corner and kill :P

Sorry I forgot to demo it since I ran from zandronum directly instead of IDE but I screenied the end screen :P

I unfortunately didn't demo it, but I had some witnessed of me doing it. If anything, I'm sure Ancalagon can do it, I saw him do it quite easily.

Ancalagon takes his time on alot of difficult maps, boring as fuck to watch, but he usually always beats a map that way

Yeah I try to take my time, and it usually results in me not coming to a conclusion and just running in. It's a little ridiculous. I dunno, this is just a map that gives me tons of trouble.
