About Internet Doom Explorer?

This seems rather dumb to ask, but is IDE safe? I also wanted to know if it is easier to make a server (like an actual WORKING server) on it compared to Doomseeker? I can't stand Doomseeker anymore because i just cannot make a server on it whatsoever no matter what i do. Three days of issues and i just gave up on it completely. All i want to do is play some Brutal Doom with a friend of mine.

Whats wrong with Doomseeker? What are you unable to do? IDE will most likely give you the same grief (possibly even more since the author doesn't keep it as up to date as ZDoom).

I cannot comment about the security of IDE because it's closed source.
