Fastest recorded reaction time in a video game?

#1

I will start off: Pokemon Stadium 2, the minigame where you play as an Eevee and you have to press the A button as fast as possible. My fastest reaction time was and still is a total of 0.12 seconds (the average human take at least 0.4 secs just to register the event and then another 0.3 just to perform the action , so this makes me especially fast :D ).
On the charge of playing the Sega Saturn port of Doom, I find myself guilty as charged LOL

Those times are off, you're not really faster than anyone else, 0.7 seconds is the estimated amount of time it would take for someone to react to an event they were NOT anticipating. You were anticipating the event and could act accordingly much faster because the neuron jump went straight (not really but) to your motor neurons instead of being processed first.

Too bad you aren't especially fast because you are so good at a pokemon game! Camping at Doom in a duel is probably one of the better ways to measure your reaction time.

And it takes your brain 80 milliseconds to comprehend what you see and visualize it to what you know as "sight".

I remember playing this little flash game where you had to hit the spacebar after something popped up. It was timed randomly, although I didn't know that and tried to predict when it would happen- ended up getting it a couple of milliseconds after it appeared through sheer luck.

kk, all good to know. :) I play on the AOW2 servers when I can where people camp in the buildings on a regular basis as well as other places throughout the map(s). I could use a little training myself lol. BTW Ivan, my reflexes on Doom are pretty fast. However, my aim is a different story lol.
