I try testing with the resources, but it makes all of doom's resources all Discolored
how do I fix this?

Easiest: rip graphics from one of these games as PNG and use like that.

I don't think there is any other solution than either editing the palette or editing the textures (tho bear in mind that both options might fuck up other textures)

As far as it goes. True colour pngs work with the opengl render and are not paletted. However, in software they are forced to the games palette.

Sounds like you copied HeXen's PLAYPAL over. Delete that, and convert the HeXen graphics to truecolor PNG using Slade. (You can highlight and convert multiple files at once, thankfully)Rcj8993 wrote: Got a question about this

Anyone using OpenGL will see them as in HeXen, and they'll be matched as faithfully as possible within Doom's palette for Software users.
