Using Hexen Resources in Doom

Got a question about this
I try testing with the resources, but it makes all of doom's resources all Discolored
how do I fix this?

My Computer Specs:

Inno3d GTX980 ULTRA,
Samsung 840 Evo 128gb SSD,

Easiest: rip graphics from one of these games as PNG and use like that.

This won't work, because Doom and Hexen use slightly different color palettes.
I don't think there is any other solution than either editing the palette or editing the textures (tho bear in mind that both options might fuck up other textures)

As far as it goes. True colour pngs work with the opengl render and are not paletted. However, in software they are forced to the games palette.

shit,

so im forced to use GL rendering if im to do that?
are there any resource packs people have made?

and im guessing the monsters are like this too...

Sounds like you copied HeXen's PLAYPAL over. Delete that, and convert the HeXen graphics to truecolor PNG using Slade. (You can highlight and convert multiple files at once, thankfully)

Anyone using OpenGL will see them as in HeXen, and they'll be matched as faithfully as possible within Doom's palette for Software users.
