Doombuilder 2: Highlight in visual mode isn't working.

Doombuilder 2: Highlight in visual mode isn't working.

Hi.

Doombuilder 2's visual mode is awesome. Unfortunately, the highlight when you have areas selected just isn't working for me. I've toggled the highlight mode on and off several times via the H key, I've rebound it in customize controls, but still when I have an area selected it doesn't highlight.
This is a massive inconvenience, as you may guess, so I'm curious if anyone else knows about how to fix it?
The Ranger - New class for HeXen.
ZDoom Wars - I drew some pictures.
Samsara - Some class-based mod I guess?
Metroid: Dreadnought - I am a dumb fanboy.
DemonSteele - ~come with me to anime world~

Tried turning your pc off and on again? :smile:

Are you using GZDoom Builder 2? I do remember there possibly being a bug with one of the versions of it if you weren't using UDMF (it also had issues with Texture alignments and such as well).

If not, have you tried making a simple test case room or using it elsewhere to see if it's just some random problem with the things you're trying to highlight/the map you are working on?

Not GZDoom Builder 2, no, just regular Doom Builder 2. And yeah, I just made a test room in Doom 2 format (I usually work in Zandronum Doom in Hexen format) and it didn't work in that, either.

You know i actually had a problem like this before, doombuilder just made a lot of things stop working, rebooting didn't work so i just left it and when i went back to it later it magically fixed itself :hmm:

Unfortunately, this has been going on for, oh, about two weeks, after I first installed the program.

Well, different laptop and the problem is no longer occurring.
So, uh, for those future people who google a problem and get this topic as the result, try a different computer.
