i can't change my settings * solve*

so i just downloaded zandronum and i notice one major thing when i go to change my settings it works but when i close it and then reopen it well all my settings have gone back to the way it was before i edit it all, i starting to get annoyed opening up the game just so i can spend about 3 mins in the menus before playing someone please help me

Are you changing them online or offline?

I think I've heard of this, if you're using a non-administrator user account on your PC, it might not be allowing you to change the settings if you installed Zandronum to Program Files.
Try re-installing and changing the install directory to a new folder that isn't in Program Files or Users/Documents, ie C:\Zandronum or the like.

EDIT: Or just run it as an Administrator, whoops! Sometimes the simplest answer is the correct one
