I don't quite understand what you're saying here...Circunei Z wrote: Having bots is one thing, hosting Hellspawn Armada cluster is another.
I believe such servers should be master-ignored, since because of these servers' location people rarely play there and they just pollute the list:
People don't play US Servers?
Also I reiterate what I've said in the past, I think master server ignore should be something that should really never be used unless somebody was doing something really, really harmful (like putting up servers with messed up pk3s to distribute viruses and malware), try to keep in mind that servers cost a significant amount of money and server filters exist to help you find what you want to play. For whatever reason it's sort of hard to start a game of DM in general in Zand, bots are only there to make that wait a little less tedious
If it helps here's an image that shows you how to set "bots are not players" in Doomseeker.
Do options -> Configure, then...
It's a nice fix but unfortunately I can't do it right away for mine, I've got a lot going on right now.Anyway, I heard Konar6 is working on temporary bots, i.e. like in ZD that only join after you've connected. That should fix the issue for legit bot usage and add freedom to master-ignore everyone abusing bots to advertise their servers.
EDIT: I had a chance to take a look at it, unfortunately it doesn't support choosing which bots are added to the server (it just picks them randomly like "addbot"), and since Ultimus is still part of the bot list (and I don't think people will like fighting him), I don't really feel comfortable implementing this as is.
Konar6 mentioned that by editing zandronum.pk3 on the server side it might be possible to remove bots from the bot list (which is doable, but a little strange); I guess another alternative would be to make a dummy wad that clears the bot list and makes another one without ultimus; I'll have to think about it.
