| Summary | 0004598: Crash at map start in AV.WAD: MAP09 with multiplayer emulation since 3.2 due to erroneous voodoo doll and "cl_identifytarget 2/3 |
| Description | For some reason, since 3.2, clients will crash in this map if multiplayer emulation is enabled. From the looks of it, there seems to spawn a duplicate Player 1 body at the Player 4 start, and if you then look at it with "cl_identifytarget 2/3/4" enabled, it will crash.
It does not crash if cl_identifytarget is set to 1, or disabled. Nonetheless, the duplicate player body is obviously not supposed to spawn there in the first place. |
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. zandronum -iwad doom2.wad -file av.wad +netgame +map map09 +cl_identifytarget 2
2. Look at the erroneous duplicate player body. It will crash. |
