Summary | 0003975: TEXTURES lump patch will turn black if same base texture is duplicated in another pk3 |
Description | QC:DE mod has several mappacks made for it. All mappacks are independent from each other, and they have equal textures with exactly same names that are present in both mappacks. They also have some textures defined in the TEXTURES lump. And so, if that lump uses a certain texture, but the same texture is present in another mappacks that is loaded later, the lump texture will turn black. |
Steps To Reproduce | - Load "qcdev2.7.pk3", "qcdemaps2.7.1_beta_11.pk3" and "qcde_communitymaps_v6.pk3", in that order.
- Go to "map qcde10".
- Locate Heavy Armor (a big green armor in a small room). I attached a screenshot with it.
- Some textures near it are completely black. |
