Summary

0003779: Monster obituaries ignore color codes.

Description

When creating a monster obituary in 3.0, the monster obituary will properly use the color code placed in the obituary.
In 3.1, however, the color codes do not work properly.

Steps To Reproduce

To validate this defect, follow the same steps in both 3.0 and 3.1 beta:
- Load the given wad file.
- Enter MAP01.
- Die to the imp.

Additional Information

This issue does not impact chat messages, HUDMessages, or logs. All of those function as normal with regard to colors. When the modder attempts to color a monster obituary, this issue will occur.

(0021266) RusselCS (reporter) 2020-04-19 09:20 edited on: 2020-04-19 09:21	Update: this issue seems to impact all obituaries if they are directly defined on the class. Obituaries defined in LANGUAGE do not have this issue. This includes weapons and projectiles in addition to monsters.
