Summary0003641: First time configuration has the same path in File Paths as in Wadseeker's General settings the path to put the WADs into
DescriptionIt's the default behavior of first time configuration ("Welcome to Doomseeker") to add ~/.config/doomseeker to the File Paths (replace tilde with full home path of the user) and also be set as the Wadseeker "put WADs into" path, so as of 1.2 it will always appear twice internally in pathfinder's path list. This has possible performance concerns, as seen in 0003639 and 0003625.
Additional InformationClosely related to 0003639, but not the same issue. This issue questions what the default for first configuration should be: kept as is, or 0003639 fixed with UI or pathfinder changes?

 If the UI and pathfinder's path duplication wasn't so "broken", this may work as intended. The UI might still be just slightly confusing, but it's a seperate issue.

I may just leave this as is, with no change required to the default configuration. (I doubt any of the other hardcoded paths in Doomseeker 1.2 on Debian GNU/Linux for WADs are relevant.)

 The described behavior is correct and should remain as-is. The problem with duplicated paths should be fixed as described in comment 0003639:0020589
