Summary0002993: QZDoom software renderer for Zandronum
DescriptionQZDoom software renderer, has ability to render in 32bit color, truecolor, with true fading / fogging , has ability to do LINEAR magnification and minification like OpenGL do it, but in software mode, most exellent Doom Software rendered engine.

It would be great if this render will be used in this source port.

IIRC, GZDoom is now using QZDoom's renderer for its software renderer, and since Zandronum is based on GZDoom, it will eventually inherit QZDoom's renderer from GZDoom when it catches up to what is now the current version, which I am guessing will be in Zandronum 4.0.

Nope. GZDoom added only some refactorization to the old sw renderer, QZDoom is a completely different beast.

I don't think should be listed as minor. Even without seeing the source code it seems like it'd take a lot of work to port properly.

QZDoom's new software renderer is (VERY) unfinished and not tested enough, so in my opinion this shouldn't be backported yet.

It should be a third option besides Software and GL, just to be sure.

This is now the case as of GZDoom 3.0.

so basically opengl render without hardware aceleration, no free looking, too slow in older cpus and no 3D models support...
