Summary | 0002401: Floor_Waggle doesn't reset floor to its proper position online |
Description | See attached screenshot. The client will not lower/raise the floor properly to its original position once the floor stops waggling. |
Steps To Reproduce | 1. zandronum -iwad doom2.wad -file floor_waggle.wad -host
2a. zandronum -iwad doom2.wad -file floor_waggle.wad -connect localhost
2b. Connect a client to the server with an emulated ping of 140.
3. "idmypos 1" in the console.
4. Join the game.
5. Move to the waggling floor. |
Additional Information | If you follow step 2b instead of 2a you can notice a lot of jitter due to a regression seemingly caused by ZandroDev1.1-PredictionTest2.7z (1.1-alpha-r121007-0742M) in'http://zandronum.com/tracker/view.php?id=1079#c5015. [^]'
Another thing is that it seems to be dependent on the Floor_Waggle values. For instance, setting the offset value to a low or a high value doesn't make it happen. |
