Summary | 0002140: Floor_Waggle and Ceiling_Waggle won't work properly on Tag 0 sectors
Description | Floor_Waggle and Ceiling_Waggle should normally be able to waggle all sectors with the specified tag, including sectors with no tag (tag 0). This was the behaviour in previous Zandronum versions and even Hexen itself. However, this doesn't seem to work properly anymore in Zandronum 2.0. In a MM8BDM mod called Roll's Chaos Generator, one of the map effects is "Jelly World", which makes use of Floor_Waggle and Ceiling_Waggle to move the entire map. But now it just moves sectors that aren't tagged 0, making the effect worthless.
Steps To Reproduce | Open the attached wad with Hexen and press the switch. Either one of the two will happen (Floor_Waggle only for vanilla Hexen compatibility): * Only the stone pillar and the switch will start moving while the rest of the map stays still. (Zandronum 2.0) * The entire map will move. (Zandronum 1.3 and Chocolate Hexen)

Did this work in ZDoom 2.3 and is it broken in ZDoom 2.5? If so, there's nothing we can do here. |

I can also confirm this doesn't work as intended in any later versions of ZDoom. Probably best to take this report over their forums.'http://forum.zdoom.org/ [^]' Perhaps they can give reason why this vanilla Hexen functionality was changed. |

Sorry, it seems there's really nothing we can do here. |
