Summary | 0000949: Barrel lights stay when destroyed while respawnable |
Description | If barrels are set to respawn in an offline skirmish, the red light of the explosion will stay there until the barrel respawns |
Steps To Reproduce | With render mode set to Open GL, turn on dynamic lights. Start an offline skirmish with "respawning barrels" enabled, and go to any level that has barrels in it. Destroy it, and the red light of the explosion will stay there until the barrel respawns. |

The reason is that the actor is never removed. It is simply made invisible/unblockable until it can respawn. |

I've seen this in 98d too, not just 1.0. |

Does it also happen if you don't start the game with the offline skirmish menu but via the console? If so, is it any different in GZDoom 323? If not, is it different in the latest GZDoom version? |

I think it's possible to write an easy Decorate fix for that. |

Sadly, the issue is still present in GZDoom |
|

A simple change in GLDEFS should be enough to sort this out. I'll post an example in a bit. |
