Personally, I think this would clutter up the statuses more than is needed (we're running out of colors :P).
One suggestion I have is that a 2.0 version can be added. If our version bumps correspond to ZDoom upgrades then you can just set the status to acknowledged and "target version" to 2.0. This way the tickets would even appear on the road map.
Another option would be to have it as a custom resolution. Again you would just leave the ticket as acknowledged, but with the resolution of "Backport Later"/"Wait for ZDoom". |

You can set a resolution for something that is just acknowledged? This would work too, but after a quick look I didn't find out how to do this. |

Well for demonstration purposes then. :P

Added "waiting for zdoom" as a resolution. |

Quote from Blzut3 I used the edit button.
Sounds like somewhat abusing the system, but this should work. Since you added "waiting for zdoom", but not "Backport Later" do you propose that we use "waiting for zdoom" independently of whether we are actually waiting for ZDoom to do something or ZDoom already did something but we just don't want to backport it yet? |

It wasn't clear if you actually wanted two separate items. Anyways, added "backport later." |
