Summary | 0000879: Backport new Inventory flags and properties |
Description | As ZDoom Wiki states, some new properties were introduced and some old were deprecated. Please consider backporting these changes for sake of compability between ports and extensibility. Don't forget about neat features: Inventory.ForbiddenTo and Inventory.RestrictedTo. Thanks. |

I think this can wait till we start doing real ZDoom upgrading after the release of Zandronum 1.0. |

No, I don't think you should stop developing. The problem is we really can't keep having to backport features for everyone in the upcoming release, otherwise there will be no release because we keep continually adding stuff. |

You can use some hacks to get around those features, see GVH : NS for some examples. (I've made a soulsphere limited to a certain team by making it a custom inventory) |

You wanna me to use CustomInventory for all 20++ items? I definely have something better to do then just copy&paste only changing sprite and class names. |

I've had to do far worse just to get what I want, it's nothing really :/
EDIT : This does not mean however, that I don't support this feature. I fully support this feature as it makes it easier on us.

3.0 beta should contain both Inventory.ForbiddenTo and Inventory.RestrictedTo. Can you check that they work fine (in the same way as gzdoom 1.8.6 does)?

Tested the flags off/online with the latest beta and they worked as designed. |
