An old bug I reported because of a feature I used in my F5HQ, and repeated in other maps as an experiment. I do not have a WAD file, but can explain how the bug works, as its effects are similar to certain wall hack exploits.
When any part of a sector is graphically rendered, all actors within that sector will appear through sky textures, whether a sky flat on floor or ceiling, or sky wall, if there is a sky 1 and a sky 2, and these sky textures or sky boxes are different.
I tested the closing of doors in my HQ, as they cease rendering of sectors past the door, and the actors are no longer rendered through the sky texture.
I apologize for being unable to further help, I hope I explained this issue enough for others to solve. |
