0000618: Die and Respawn on Map Change in Demos
I don't know why this happens.. I just found it while recording a demo to put up on Youtube, with Brutaldoom in Ultimate Doom. What really happens, is the the level ends just fine, but then, once you get to the next map, you will die, and respawn really fast.

And the weapons become desynced. I ended the level with a shotgun in Hand, I press the exit, go though the intermission screen, and when I get to the next map, I die and respawn, with a rocketlauncher shooting.. either Pistol or Shotgun Shells.

This ofc, is ONLY Demo Side.. Not when I play.
1) Record demo playing Ultimate Doom, (could be in doom 2) end e1m1, and keep recording till after a few seconds after e1m2 is started.

2) Play the demo back, watch it all the way though e1m1, and after Intermission, you will Hear the death sound, yet you will respawn with a different weapon.

3) ??? - Demo is forever desynced.
I used IDE to record, and play back the demo. I attached a sample demo for you to test faster. I took everything out of my st folder, including the ini file.

Can somebody reproduce this in the latest 98e beta build? And if so, also record a demo that is as short as possible and still shows the problem?

That second demo (2012.01.28_12.39.28_doom.cld) is in r3299. The weapons are fine, although there is still a death sound at the start of E1M2 for some reason.
