Summary | 0000508: BSoD when .EXE opens for a second time |
Description | When I open SkullTag for the first time on botting up the computer, the game will play as normal.
However, when I quit and reopen the EXE - such as, from joining a new server through Doomseeker/IdeSE, or just quit SkullTag and play again some time later without rebooting the computer - the computer immediately displays a BSoD. |
Steps To Reproduce | - close SkullTag
- open SkullTag |
Additional Information | I run a fairly old machine with graphics running from the processor - Intel 82845G Graphics Controller. I run SkullTag through OpenGL mode. This problem has only started occuring since upgrading SkullTag to v0.98. |

In r323, yes. In a later revision that I have (1.4.8.762), no. |

Well, I forgot that ticket, yeah this is related, it seems. Sadly this means that you should wait that Skulltag gl code is updated. This depends on Torr's ETA, which is AFAIK unknown.
From the other ticket:
>Sky Driver was kind enough to test various binaries for me (lots of crashes). We found out that it got fixed somewhere between 1.3.00 (r551) and 1.3.17 (r649).
I wonder if it is possible to narrow down that interval, but I don't know where are the builds for those revisions.
[edit]should we continue the discussion in the older ticket?

To the starter: still happen in 2.0? |

Having since gotten a new computer (about a year after I submitted this), my hardware settings are no doubt much different from what they were previously. That said, the issue does not occur on the newer hardware. |

Glad to hear it :)
I'll close this, if you have any issues, feel free to submit another ticket |
