0000452: Improved client-side prediction of player movement in low gravity values
If sv_gravity is set to a low value, e.g., 200, your client will start to mispredict your movement. The view starts to flicker from ceiling-level to floor-level in an erratic manner if you jump far enough. And when it starts to flicker, your HUD weapon will disappear.
1. Start a server with sv_gravity set to 200.
2. "map map20" in the console.
3. Connect a client to the server with an emulated ping of 251 ms.
4. Join the game.
5. Jump around.

Yeah, this works well. SpaceDM9 will play a lot better now.
