MantisBT - Zandronum
When playing (Team)LMS and there's many players present and the player starts are taken and/or overlapping, and players are forced to spawn-telefrag each other, duplicate & even triple spawn-telefrag obituaries appear when players join the game and telefrag others, in addition to appearing at initial map resets.
This obviously makes the console and server log appear incredibly busy, needlessly.
The triple obituary only seems to appear in TeamLMS, regular LMS is only affected by the double obituary from the looks of it. The Megaman community must be suffering a lot from this issue since they mostly play the TeamLMS mode.
I put the priority at high for the sake of the Megaman community.
1. zandronum -host -file countdown_deathcount_02b.wad +teamlms 1
2. Connect 2 clients to the server.
3. Join the blue team with client A.
4. Join the same blue team with client B. The triple obituary will appear.
Double spawn-telefrag obituary (TeamLMS):
1. zandronum -host -file countdown_deathcount_02b.wad +teamlms 1 +sv_useteamstartsindm 1
2. Connect 3 clients to the server.
3. Join the blue team with client A.
4. Join the blue team with client B. The triple obituary will appear.
5. Join the red team with client C.
6. Let the countdown end and watch the initial spawn-telefrag for blue team at map reset be a double obituary.
Double spawn-telefrag obituary (LMS):
1. zandronum -host -file countdown_deathcount_02b.wad +lastmanstanding 1
2. Connect 2 clients to the server.
3. Join the game with client A.
4. Join the game with client B
5. Let the countdown end and watch the initial spawn-telefrag be a double obituary.
