0004480: +FLOORHUGGER +DOOMBOUNCE and -NOGRAVITY combined cause missiles to get stuck on actors online
While testing the latest beta 3.2 on a server with some Complex Doom mods, I noticed that a "Legendary Hellknight" was firing missiles that kept getting stuck on SOLID things online. Sometimes the missiles would also get stuck permanently, see the attached screenshot.
1. zandronum -host -file floorhugger_thingdesync_01.wad
2. Connect a client to the server and join the game.
3. Let the hellknights fire their missiles for a while. They can't harm you. They do a 360-style spin attack that's guaranteed to latch onto other actors.
4. After a while, kill the hellknights and notice some of the missiles they fired remain stuck on the red torches on the corners.
There were also some other issues with missiles getting stuck, but stripping down the mod and testing it confirmed that most of them also occurred offline, and could be attributed to GZDoom behavior and/or coding oversights.
