0003858: Make actor jumptics configurable
QC:DE devs want to reduce delay between character land and next jump. I created a "sv_jumptics" cvar for that. Please see the attached patch.

That looks like something also interesting for GZDoom. Does GZDoom already allow to configure this delay?

No, it doesn't. I would suggest to hold on this change though, because there is a Zandronum fork being made with changes asked by QC:DE devs. Once it goes public you may want to use those patches instead.

Is this fork something temporary to facilitate the QC:DE development or is the plan to create a new port that will be kept separate from Zandronum? If it's the former, I think it would be better to check whether the patches patches are suitable for inclusion in Zandronum.

Ideally we want those changes to get into official Zandronum. But the most crucial changes are also quite complex, like a whole new movement system (based on Quake movement). I can give you access to the repository so you could take a look.
