Summary0003549: A script to derive country flags doesn't exist
DescriptionOh how nice it'd be to give an image to a script (via file path or stdin), and it'd output the right resolution with additional layers of gloss in fashion to `media/flags/flag_template.xcf` (to a file or stdout).

I've done three flags so far for Doomseeker 1.2 release, all by hand in GIMP. I wish I didn't need to repeat myself.

I'm also curious how the "source requirement" of (L)GPL license applies here to the derived country flags, since we don't have a .xcf source for every single flag in the repository.

This issue affects at least versions from 0.5 Beta to date; there's no MantisBT product version for tracking 0.5 Beta issues (yet).

My personal request is anyone making this will use POSIX sh. Using ImageMagick might be the easiest way.

There's no deadline for such feature request as of right now, of course.

Self-confirming, because this issue exists in Doomseeker 1.2 (since 0.5 Beta, but the earliest we track in the tracker is 0.6 Beta.)
