0000346: Inconsistent flag icon behavior
The blue/red/green/gold flags and their corresponding icons have some inconsistencies between them. They flash before you pick them up, but stop doing it once picked up. The white flag also flashes while being carried.
White flag:

WHITEFLAG:
        WFLS ABC 3
        WFLS DEF 3 bright
        loop


Blue flag:

Carry:
        BFLS ABCDEF 3
        Loop


Red flag:

Carry:
        RFLS ABCDEF 3
        Loop
Also, the icon states are defined in different places.

Blue/Red/Green/Gold flags:

The behavior is still there in 2.0. It seems that the skull actors (skulltag mode) also flash when carried.

I'd say that the white flag and the skull actors need to behave like the other flags. That's the standard in Odamex and ZDaemon. If the flags/skulls blink, you can't for instance hide in darkness.
