0003111: Erasing existing colorcodes in player name editor requies at least 3 keypresses
If a colorcode in player name is not newly typed and visible, but a preexisting and invisible color code, you need to press backspace thrice or more (for named colors) to erase it. Only one keypress should be required.

But if the color code is removed when the last letter is, the color code would be lost in this case and thus you wouldn't be able to rewrite the colored part without retyping the color code.

I guess ideally the color code should be visible as some sort of block character but unfortunately ZDoom's text and font support isn't flexible enough for that.

Removing the invisible color code with no letters after it should take one keypress, not more.

Also, typing letters after a half-way erased color code causes weird results. It obviously erases raw bytes.

Is this different in GZDoom 1.8.6?

I couldn't get colorcodes to work at all in names or chat in GZDoom 1.8.6. They just keep showing as \cx.
