Description | It would be nice to be able to callvote different gamemodes. sv_gamemode_rotation - Server will randomly select a game mode from this list when switching maps. Empty means that it won't switch game modes at all. sv_gamemode_voteoptions - A list of game mode options that players can vote on. This can be different from the game mode rotation options. I'm not married to these cvar names. I suppose they would be a simple, comma-delimited list of game modes. This would be a simple gamemode switcher. - No per-gamemode dmflags. - No map-specific disallows. - No magic lumps that it obeys. - It's on the server owner to not pick stupid combinations, like coop/ctf or whatever. Something that MIGHT be up for debate - what happens when you vote for a new game mode? It can't apply the new game mode without switching the map. I think that the game mode should be applied and the map should be reloaded immediately, as to follow the principle of least surprise. | ||||
